Privacy policy

What we collect

Your account: your name, your email address and your password. The password is stored only as a one-way hash; nobody, including us, can read it.

What you put into a workspace: properties, units, tenants and their contact and identity details, leases, payments, expenses, bank statements and other files you upload, and the reports built from them.

Technical information: a sign-in cookie, your language choice, the IP address and browser type of each signed-in session (to keep your account secure), and error logs from the server.

How we use it

Only to provide the service: to show your data to you and to the members of your workspace, to calculate rent, arrears, reports and zakat, to match bank statement lines, to keep the service secure and to fix problems.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with others for their own purposes. There are no third-party analytics or tracking tools on the site.

Who can see your workspace

The people you invite, each according to the role you give them (for example, a collection agent sees only the properties assigned to them). Each workspace is isolated from every other workspace in the database itself.

We look at workspace data only when it is needed to run, support or secure the service, when you ask us to, or when the law requires it.

Information about tenants and other people

When you enter details about tenants, family members or others, you decide what is recorded and are responsible for having a lawful reason to keep it and for informing them where the law requires. We process that information on your behalf and only to provide the service to you.

Where it is stored and how it is protected

Data is stored on a server we operate, rented from a hosting provider. All traffic to the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed, uploaded files are kept in folders only the application can read, and the database is backed up every night; backups are kept for 14 days.

Cookies

We use only the cookies the site needs to work: one that keeps you signed in and one that remembers your language. No advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it, and deleting it

We keep your data while your account and workspace exist.

A workspace owner can delete the workspace in Settings. Everything in it — properties, tenants, leases, money records, uploaded files — is removed at once; copies inside the nightly backups disappear within 14 days as the backups expire.

You can delete your account in Settings. If you own a workspace, delete it first. Server error logs are kept for about a month.

Your rights

You can see and correct your data in the application at any time, download it through the Excel reports, and delete it as described above. These rights apply in addition to any you have under the law that applies to you, including the Personal Data Protection Law of the Sultanate of Oman.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
